Girls’ Night In! Best Chick Flicks to Watch with Your BFFs

Popcorn? Check. Awesome company? Check. Now, all you need is a pile of good movies to make you laugh and cry your way through an amazing girls’ night in. Here, we bring to you the best chick flicks to watch with the squad.

  1. Mean Girls

Why is this perfect? Because Regina George’s mean moments is just freakishly out of control, but a lot of it feels so real (the burn book, eh?).  Plus, it’s the only movie that includes a person getting hit by a school bus and still making it to prom.

  1. Twilight

Twilight is a tale of a girl meets vampire, whose feelings are torn between a vampire and a werewolf. The love triangle between Edward, Jacob, and Bella involves longing stares and heart-wrenching lines, enough to keep everyone hooked in all of its four films. Watch it with your friends in between Team Jacob and Team Edward debates.

  1. The Notebook

This is definitely one of the most romantic films of all time. From the beautiful, classic setting to the old couple reminiscing their love story and the romantic kiss in the rain—everything is just well put together. Just make sure not to watch this movie last—or you’ll end up going to bed heavy-heartedly crying.

  1. Titanic

If you and your girl friends can’t agree on the movie to watch, simply throw in this classic favourite. You can never go wrong with Jack and Rose, even though you know you’ll start screaming “There’s more room for you on that plank, Leo!” in the latter part of the movie.

  1. Pitch Perfect

Why should you watch this? Umm, because it’s just aca-awesome! If there’s a new Mean Girls movie, well this would be it. From Anna Kendricks’ flawless audition piece The Cup Song, to Fat Amy’s hilarious one-liners, this is one awesome movie we just can’t get enough of.

So go grab your pajamas, ladies; and make sure you have your popcorn and sodas (or punch) ready. It’s time for the best slumber party to begin.
